The Spectacular Social Showcase at the educate+ Building Futures International Conference will be a true highlight.
Celebrate connection, community and the spirit of Advancement, from the Marts&Lundy Welcome Event at the iconic Brisbane City Hall, to Chapter Gatherings across the city, all designed for meaningful networking.
The experience culminates in the iDAT Conference Celebration at Felons Barrel Hall, where riverside views, exceptional food and vibrant entertainment set the scene to unwind and connect.
These are more than social events! They are moments that will spark lasting relationships and memories well beyond Brisbane 2026.
For ease of getting to and from the Welcome Event and Conference Celebrations, bus transportation is being arranged for pick-up and drop-off from the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. You are welcome to make your own way to and from these Social Events if you prefer.
The Chapter events are all within walking distance of the Convention Centre for your convenience.
Marts&Lundy Welcome Event
Brisbane City Hall | Tuesday 1 September - From 6.00pm-7.30pm
Join us for the Marts&Lundy Welcome Event - a cocktail-style reception, providing Delegates with the first opportunity to gather, network and celebrate the beginning of the Conference.
Opening in 1930, Brisbane City Hall sits at the heart of the Queensland Capital and is a symbol of civic and community pride and is the perfect venue for our Welcome event!
Please Note: if you are a FULL Conference Delegate, this event is included in your Registration. If you are a DAY Conference Delegate or would like to bring additional guests, you will need to purchase additional tickets to this event.
Chapter Gatherings

The educate+ Building Futures International Conference will culminate in the spectacular iDAT Conference Celebration at the Felons Barrel Hall, located within the vibrant Howard Smith Wharves precinct. With dazzling views of the Story Bridge and Brisbane’s city skyline, this riverside venue offers the perfect setting to unwind, connect and celebrate the success of the Conference.
